LX Precision (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. was first established as Lauener (China) Co., Ltd. in 2001
as a subsidiary of the world top quality Swiss turning company founded in the year 1905.
In 2008 Lauener (China) Co., Ltd. became a 100% subsidiary company of Alchemtec Holding SA from
Switzerland. Meanwhile, Swiss Polygena group became
shareholder. After the re-incorporation, LX Precision China is to further the high growth and
to continue building the company.
The company started in the telecom market manufacturing high precision parts for radio
frequency connector applications. In 2004 LX entered into the orthopaedics market making
trauma and spine implants. In 2005 LX further diversified into the automotive components
market manufacturing high precision parts for engine management and fuel distribution
system. Besides, LX is also manufacturing hi-end parts for general industrial applications
including aerospace. The company has been manufacturing parts between 0.6 mm – 32 mm in diameter.
LX has a strong Swiss technology support in a wide range of precision manufacturing capabilities.
Many of LX' staff members were trained in Switzerland or US. There has been on-going Chinese staff
training in Switzerland and Swiss experts coming to provide on-site training and assistance.
